History
Gearshopping.com is the third edition of The Great Outdoor Emporium Mall. Originally conceived in 1998 as a resource of outdoor resources for sports enthusiasts. Those days, it was just links with a little one line description of the site the link went. 

Growing
As the internet grew, The Great Outdoor Emporium became a highly visited site and visitors were wanting places to buy products thus the second version arose.

Today
Gearshopping.com has expanded to not only include listings to stores, but information about their products, shipping and return policies as well as other handy contact  information..
